ARKA

ARKA is an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed and developed by AMRL (Advanced Mobile Robotics Lab) researchers.
The ARKA is a transportable robot with superior mobility and advanced manipulation, able to tackle dangerous situations. It can climb stairs up to a gradient of 45° and slopes of 55°. This robot equipped with a dexterous manipulator, 360° rotating wrist, gripper, microphone, depth, and thermal camera. The 13Kg manipulator can be extended up to a length of 140cm. It can lift objects weighing more than 10kg at full arm extension and roughly 35kg at close-in position. This robot is suitable for missions such as explosive detection, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) / bomb disposal, persistent observation, and vehicle inspections. This Robot is very accurate and flexible in dealing with rescue and security problems, as it provides live video transmission and to map the Unknown environment.

KARO +

Karo Plus is an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), equipped with a dexterous robotic arm, which is designed and implemented with functions of mobility, manipulation, mapping and inspection in areas that are inaccessible or too dangerous for people. This tele-operative robot easily climbs and descends, stairs and slopes efficiently. It can overcome obstacles and debris to perform reconnaissance, dispose bomb, rescue and inspection with a high levels of accuracy and controllability. High resolution camera, night vision, infra-red vision, precise sensor systems and full-duplex audio interface are provided for the inspection system. It telecommunicates collected information of targets to the control station simultaneously. Karo Plus can be supplied in various user-specified configurations.
